Brand kit
Everything needed to write about or link to Lakolam. The full guidelines — logo construction, voice, imagery rules — live in this site's repository as brand/BRAND.md.
The mark
A two-ring labyrinth: one entrance, one doorway, the goal at the centre. It is the product's promise drawn small — every page has exactly one way in, and it can always be found again.
Palette
Semantic tokens, defined once per theme — the same system the studios use. Tokens also ship astokens.css andtokens.json.
| Token | Light | Dark | Use |

Typography
Inter (falling back to the system sans) for interface and marketing;JetBrains Mono for seeds, specs and anything the CLI would print. Headlines are set tight (-0.02em); seeds are always monospaced.
Imagery rule
Brand imagery is real engine output, never illustration: rendered by lako, seed recorded (this site uses0xa11ce). If an image can't be regenerated from its caption, it isn't on brand.
Writing the name
- Lakolam — the project and the engine. Capital L, one word.
- Lakolam Studio — the browser app.
lako— the CLI, always lowercase and monospaced.- The name recalls kolam, the South-Indian ritual line drawing the engine grew from.
